Almost exactly 10 years ago, the first version of our Crazy Eights app went live on iOS. We want to celebrate this with you and have modernized the app technically.
This update allows you to not only play offline as usual, but for the first time, you can also play online against family, friends, and players from all over the world. Create your own rooms and invite up to five players or join a group of random players. You can even send messages to each other using the emoji chat feature.
Crazy Eights isn’t just Crazy Eights anymore. Choose from one of seven rule sets of the popular classic card game: Mau-Mau, Crazy Eights, 8 Américain, Pesten, Macau, 101, or Switch. That’s not all. In Custom Mode, you can change all the rule settings individually. Play the game the way you remember it from your childhood – offline and online!
The app now also offers the ability to customize your game room to your liking. Change the wallpaper, replace the table and choose your favorite design for the playing cards. Of course, you can also customize your player profile by changing your avatar and player name. Make Crazy Eights your game!
The extensive renewal of the Crazy Eights app was made possible in part with the help of by the Computerspieleförderung (Computer Games Funding) from the German Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI).
